Regarding the push to talk service is AT & T has the best push-to-talk system. The initial key takes about 15 seconds to subscribe to the other end, but responses take less then a second. The last time I tried Verizon PTT delay was 15 seconds or so initially, then 5-10 seconds later (it is true that a year ago). A PTT plans to have roughly the same for both carriers. Neither carrier has tried too hard with their recent plans PTT. Both choosing to focus on other features (like sending Unlimited SMS, streaming video, etc.), I strongly recommend that you consider both coverage areas for businesses in your area, because if you do not cover the point of PTT is silent. When all is said and done, Nextel has the best system of PTT, but AT & T is not far. If AT & T coverage in your area is good, then I recommend you give them a shot. Remember: if not satisfied within 30 days, you can return equipment and go out contract without early termination penalty.
