Working in a noisy environment can almost guarantee damage your hearing. The leisure activities that are too high can also cause hearing loss irreversible. Noise that causes pain to your ears is loud enough to cause damage to the delicate mechanisms that make your ears function.
The question is: "What is too loud?" A normal conversation is about 60 dB, while sitting in a noisy restaurant can also be high as 75 dB or more. If you work in an environment noisy, it can really affect your hearing. Wearing hearing protectors such as earplugs and earmuffs can be tedious at times, but they are simpler and much cheaper than hearing aids.
