Respectfully,

I have never applied for financial aid and would never apply for financial aid. If you need to borrow money you are at the wrong school. There are countless ways to do college without borrowed money. If you need to borrow money you can't afford it. I've seen many, many people drive past 10 schools they COULD afford to go to one they couldn't. They spend the rest of their youth paying off debt and bragging about where they went to college to people who really couldn't care less and are just rolling their eyes that anybody actually thinks they do. That these schools have sold this expensive-is-better nonsense to so many people is the biggest snow job in history.

i'm told that foriegn students are in such numbers at U.S. schools because they pay cash and almost all Americans are on welfare, I mean, "financial aid" Don't know if it is true. But... colleges are a business no matter what everybody will tell you.

First off, fin aid has nothing to do with getting accepted. Second, most places don't look at your high school stuff once you've taken a year or more of higher education classes. Third, you've got a good gpa, and that will boost your chances. Fourth, if you're looking at South Carolina....you're as good as in.

Most colleges require you to apply for financial aid regardless of your financial situation (aka filling out your FAFSA). Being as this is a community college, I would assume and this is the same policy. I would be shocked if it were different.

Also, you have so many extra curricular activities and an awesome GPA! I don't see why USC wouldn't want you. I'd fill out your FAFSA and not be concerned about it. Your grades rock and your have so many other credentials USC would be stupid if they didn't want you.

If you have any other questions feel free to email mee at tory@toryforpresident.com !
